The women of First Baptist Camden are active in the promotion of our church-wide emphasis on international, national, state, and local associational missions, as well as our special missions offerings.

Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) is an “umbrella” term which describes the mission organizations in our church for preschoolers, girls and women. These groups are actively promoting and engaging in local missions as well as assisting in state and foreign missions offerings through programs of awareness of needs and requests for prayer on behalf of our missionaries.

 

  • Mission Friends (preschoolers – boys and girls) and Girls in Action (girls in grades 1-5) meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the Children’s building.
  • Our Youth on Mission emphasis is provided as part of Youth Wednesday Night Live at 6:15 pm upstairs in the West Building.
  • myMission is a web-based approach to missions for adult women.
  • Women on Mission is for all women over the age of 18. They have five groups that meet on the second Tuesday of each month. They extend a cordial welcome to the ladies of our church.

Along with all of the mission action we do, we have loads of fun and fellowship. We would love to have you ON BOARD!
